In the coming weeks, you are going to make your final college selection based on the Scholarship offers and Financial Aid Award Letters you receive. This process of picking the right college can be stressful to students and parents alike. By comparing the pros and cons of every college, you will be able to choose the college that best FITS you: Academically, Financially, Socially, and Geographically.
There is a right college out there for you where you can THRIVE so choose wisely!
Once you make your decision, it is time to schedule your “Orientation Date” ASAP so that you can schedule your first semester of classes. DO NOT delay in getting this scheduled!
IMPORTANT: In preparation for Orientation, take the time to go to your college website and search for a listing of the required curriculum for your future major. Use this information to help map out an ideal schedule for yourself and ALWAYS have backup classes selected for courses that are already completely booked. IF you haven’t decided on a major, no worries! Take the time to pick solid Gen Ed classes that you can use with any future major you decide to pursue.
Best of luck as you make your final college decision and navigate your way through the final steps of the college process!
