Did you know that there are some terrific Local Scholarships that you can pursue TODAY if you meet the requirements and TAKE ACTION! Here is a short list with some brief descriptions:
- Boone County Education Association: Do you plan to Major in Education in College? The Boone County Education Association (BCEA) is offering a student who attends High School at Boone County HS, Conner HS, Cooper HS, or Ryle HS a $1,000 Scholarship. The DEADLINE is March 10th – that’s right this FRIDAY! Send me an email at danbisig@collegeandbeyondllc.com and I’ll send you the Application PDF.
- Florence Rotary Scholarship: You must be a Boone County resident to apply for this scholarship. The Florence Rotary Scholarship Selection Committee will select candidates from each school, after reviewing all the applications. Those students will then be invited to participate in a short interview at their high school, with members of the Florence Rotary Club during the week of April 3rd through April 6th. One recipient per school will be selected and awarded a $1000 scholarship. CLICK HERE for the application. The Deadline is March 27, 2017.
- Boone County Republican Women’s Club Scholarship: You must be a female graduating senior of a high school located in Boone County with a grade point average of a 3.0 or better. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2017. 1 – $1,000 scholarship will be awarded by the BCRWC. Send me an email at danbisig@collegeandbeyondllc.com and I’ll send you the Application PDF.
